Shimano mechanics will be providing a support service on race day and during race week. There will be mobile and static mechanics on the bike course.

It is imperative, however, that competitors ensure their bikes are well serviced prior to arrival in Port Macquarie. Each competitor must carry spares (tubes, singles, etc.) during the race and must not rely on the Shimano mechanics to provide these items. Each competitor is advised to carry at least one spare tube on check-in on Saturday to avoid any delay and frustration if waiting for a mechanic for supply of this item as well as valve extensions for those competitors using deep section rims. New tyres/tubes are strongly recommended.
